Charge Policy:  Students at Brady ISD are allowed to charge up to 3 reimbursable meals.  After the 3rd charge the student is offered a courtesy meal consisting of 2 ounces of sun butter, 2 wheat bread slices, jelly, fruit, vegetable and a milk.  Negative balance notes are sent home daily at Brady Elementary and twice a week at Middle School and High School. School Messenger will send you a text message or make a phone indicating if your child's account is at a low or at a negative balance.

Payment Options:  A reminder for all parents to please fill out the free and reduced applications and return them to your child's school as soon as possible. You also have 3 ways to pay for lunch: send payment with your child (all cash and check transactions are asked to be taken care of before lunch begins), you may bring payment to the cafeterias, or you may make an online payment!  See below for more information!

Free and Reduced Applications:  
English Application and Spanish Application Brady ISD will work diligently to process your application as quickly as possible.  Parents and Guardians are responsible for any charges that occur during the application review process regardless of eligibility status (Foster, SNAP, TANF or Income).  For immediate processing, the Food Service Department recommends that Parents hand deliver the completed application to the Food Service Office located at the High School, 2301 HWY 190.  For more information on the 10 day processing policy or to obtain a free and reduced application please visit or read below.

According to the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Administrators’ Reference Manual (ARM) Section 4.17 “Applications should be reviewed and an eligibility determination made within 10 operating days of receipt of the application. For new participants who do not have previously approved applications on file from the previous year, applications should be processed immediately whenever possible.”

This site offers more information, improved features and increased security.  You may have already visited and experienced all it has to offer.  If you have not had the opportunity to visit the site, we encourage you to begin using this new site immediately, with the same login information from®. Accessing your account:
  • Go to
  • Enter your existing username and password
  • Click LOG IN
  • Verify your child(ren) linked to your account
    • To add new students to your household you will need the 
    • child's name, 
    • birthdate, and 
    • student ID
To make a payment:
  • Once logged in, click MAKE A PAYMENT
  • Select or enter a payment amount for each child
  • Click CHECK OUT NOW to complete the payment process
  • mySchoolBucks has the following payment methods available for use:

Important Note Concerning Low Balance Email Alerts: Due to legal requirements, we were unable transfer automatic e-mail notifications. If you previously setup low balance email alerts in, you will need to set those up on mySchoolBucks or you may now choose to schedule automatic recurring payments. TDA Update:  Sodium and Smart Snacks
  Sodium restrictions for both breakfast and lunch go into effect this year. Smart Snacks or a la carts are also regulated this year based on calories, fat content, sodium and sugar. For more information on meal regulations please visit
