Texas Mobile Stem Lab Coming to Brady Elementary

Posted Date: 03/18/26 (03:10 PM)

Coming March 31 - April 2, 2026 to Brady Elementary. The Texas Mobile STEM Lab is a high-tech "classroom on wheels" that brings immersive, hands-on science and engineering experiences directly to your child’s school. Operated by the nonprofit Learning Undefeated in partnership with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), this mobile unit is designed as a "field trip in the parking lot" for students in grades K–8. Inside the custom-outfitted lab, students work together to solve real-world engineering design challenges—such as building wind-resistant houses or designing circuitry—all aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. The program is provided at no cost to schools and aims to spark early interest in STEM careers by making complex concepts accessible and fun through interactive technology and professional instructors.
